Chemistry Education Study Program Appoints New Head for the 2026–2030 Term

The Chemistry Education Study Program has appointed a new Head of the Study Program for the 2026–2030 term. This leadership transition is part of the regeneration process and an effort to strengthen study program governance to ensure the continued improvement of the quality of education, research, and community service.

The leadership of the Chemistry Education Study Program for the 2026–2030 term has been entrusted to Dr. Elsa Sriwahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd., succeeding Dr. Indra Cipta, S.Si., M.Sc., who served as Head of the Study Program from 2023 to 2026. This transition marks an important opportunity to continue the programs and achievements initiated during the previous term while introducing new innovations and developments in response to educational needs and advances in science.

During the leadership of Dr. Indra Cipta, S.Si., M.Sc. (2023–2026), the Chemistry Education Study Program achieved an important milestone in academic quality improvement, namely the improvement of its accreditation status from “Good” to “Very Good.” This achievement represents an important part of the study program’s development and reflects the shared commitment to strengthening governance, the implementation of education, and compliance with academic quality standards.

In recognition of these contributions, the Chemistry Education Study Program expresses its appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Indra Cipta, S.Si., M.Sc. for his dedication, service, and leadership during the 2023–2026 term. The programs, innovations, and achievements accomplished during his tenure provide an important foundation for the continued development of the Chemistry Education Study Program in the following term.

Under the leadership of Dr. Elsa Sriwahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd., the Chemistry Education Study Program is expected to maintain and further improve the quality it has achieved. The development priorities will focus on strengthening academic quality and study program governance, enhancing the competencies of lecturers and students, advancing research and community service, as well as expanding academic collaboration and networks.
