UNKHAIR Chemistry Education Lecturer Enhances Scientific Journal Management Skills through OJS Training

Linda Kurnia Mustafa, M.Pd., a lecturer in the Chemistry Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Khairun, participated in a technical training program for journal managers at Universitas Khairun on Monday, September 28, 2026. The training was held in the meeting room of the university’s Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM).

The training carried the theme “Transforming Scientific Journal Management through the Optimization of Open Journal Systems (OJS).” It aimed to improve journal managers’ understanding and skills in using OJS to support more effective, systematic, and professional scientific journal management and publishing processes.

Through this training, participants are expected to optimize their use of OJS for manuscript management, publication processes, and journal administration. The participation of a Chemistry Education lecturer in this program is expected to contribute to improving scientific journal management and academic publishing quality at Universitas Khairun.
